Who we are
Threadminder is operated by PluralityWorks LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“Threadminder,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at hello@threadminder.ai.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit threadminder.ai, join our waitlist, sign up for an account, or use the Threadminder service — and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, hashed password (or third-party login identifier if you sign in with Google), timezone, working hours, and communication preferences.
- Project content: anything you store in Threadminder — projects, statuses, decisions, next actions, parking lot items, and pinned documents.
- Connection data: OAuth tokens and identifiers for any AI platforms you connect (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini), and timestamps recording when each platform last accessed your account.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive transaction status, subscription tier, and billing email — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage and diagnostic data: server logs, error reports, and basic analytics needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Communications: support messages, survey responses, and other correspondence you send us.
How we use your information
- To deliver, operate, and secure the service.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send transactional email (account, billing, security).
- To send the optional Morning Brief, if you enable it.
- To provide customer support.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
- To improve the product, in aggregate.
We do not train AI models on your data
Your project content, account information, and any data you store in Threadminder are never used to train AI models — ours or any third party’s.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers (subprocessors). Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Fly.io — application hosting
- Cloudflare — DNS, edge delivery, and dashboard hosting
- Resend — transactional email
- Brevo — waitlist and marketing email
- Google — sign-in (only if you choose Google to sign in)
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Better Stack — uptime monitoring
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your project content with advertisers or data brokers.
What we share with AI platforms you connect
When you connect an AI platform to Threadminder, that platform can read your project context to help you during conversations. This happens through the MCP protocol — the AI calls Threadminder when you invoke it. You control:
- Which platforms are connected, and you can disconnect at any time.
- The active context mode (Off, Passive, or Active), which governs whether and when context loads into AI sessions.
- Which individual projects are marked private. Private projects are never shared with any AI on any platform, regardless of mode.
Once information is sent to a connected AI platform, that platform’s privacy policy governs how it is handled there.
Your rights
You can:
- Access and edit your data through the Threadminder dashboard at any time.
- Export your data — full export is available from your account.
- Delete your account and all associated data — from the dashboard or by emailing hello@threadminder.ai.
- Object to specific uses of your data by contacting us.
We honor verified deletion requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Email us to exercise any such right.
Data retention
- While your account is active, we keep your data so we can deliver the service.
- When you close your account, we delete your project data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (for example, billing records, which we retain for up to seven years).
- Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days.
Security
We encrypt data in transit with TLS and at rest in our database. We use industry-standard authentication, access control, and infrastructure security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information at every layer.
Cookies and analytics
threadminder.ai uses a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used.
International users
Threadminder is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your home jurisdiction.
Children
Threadminder is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email.
